Overview
The Cummins Accelera HyLYZER®-500 is a proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser unit capable of producing 500 standard cubic metres of hydrogen per hour, making it a 2.5 MW-class green hydrogen production system. In 2024, Cummins ENZE was selected by JGC Corporation and Sumitomo Corporation to supply a HyLYZER®-500 for a green hydrogen metal smelting project in Australia — validating the system for demanding industrial applications. The HyLYZER® platform is modular, scalable, and designed for integration into large-scale green hydrogen plants, industrial decarbonisation projects, and hydrogen fuel supply chains.
