Overview
The Cat 390 is Caterpillar's largest production hydraulic excavator, delivering maximum productivity for large-scale quarrying, surface mining, and heavy civil earthmoving. Powered by the Cat C18 engine at 397 kW (532 hp), it moves up to 4.5 m³ per pass with the standard mass excavation bucket. The 390 features Cat's IQAN electronic monitoring, advanced hydraulic system with load-sensing control, and a robust X-frame undercarriage designed for extreme duty cycles.
