CFM LEAP & Pratt & Whitney GTF: Next-Generation Narrowbody Engine Supply

Feb 2025

kodeksallc has expanded its aerospace engine capabilities to cover full procurement and aftermarket support for the CFM International LEAP and Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan (GTF) engine families, the powerplants driving the new generation of narrowbody commercial aircraft.

The CFM LEAP engine family (LEAP-1A for Airbus A320neo family, LEAP-1B for Boeing 737 MAX, and LEAP-1C for COMAC C919) features advanced 3D-printed fuel nozzles, ceramic matrix composite (CMC) turbine shrouds, and a higher pressure ratio than its CFM56 predecessor, delivering a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency. kodeksallc supports procurement of new engines, LLP (Life Limited Parts), and line/shop replaceable units.

The Pratt & Whitney GTF (Geared Turbofan), powering the A320neo, A220, Embraer E-jets E2, and Mitsubishi SpaceJet, features a reduction gearbox that allows the fan and low-pressure turbine to operate at their optimal speeds independently. This architecture contributes to a 16–20% reduction in fuel burn compared to prior-generation engines. kodeksallc supports GTF operators with spare engine sourcing, QEC kits, and component exchange.

As demand for narrowbody capacity continues to surge globally, kodeksallc's relationships with airlines, lessors, and MRO providers position us to deliver rapid procurement solutions. Contact us today to discuss engine availability, technical specifications, or aftermarket support requirements.
